How Much to Rent A Limousine?
One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is "How much
to rent a limousine?". Well, such a general question is difficult
to answer without more information. Costs to rent a limousine are
based on 5 factors.
PROM RENTAL COST ESTIMATES?
Rental Costs Depend on 5 Factors:
1) Size and type of vehicle
2) Day of week
3) Time of year
4) Company Policy
5) Geographic Region
Size & Type of Vehicle
The larger the limousine and passenger capacity, the more costly
the rental will be. The following is a list of average prices for
limo rentals based on nationwide averages.
Luxury Sedans ~~~ $30-50/hour
Six-Passenger Limousines $40-65/hour
Eight-Passenger Limousines $50-85/hour
Ten-Passenger Limousines $60-100/hour
Twelve-Passenger Limousines $85-120/hour
Fourteen-Passenger Limousines $95-150/hour
Stretch Hummers $125-200/hour
Stretch Navigators $125-200/hour
Passenger Vans $40-70/hour
Mini-Buses $75-125/hour
Limo-Coaches (Limostyle bus) $100-175/hour
Day of Week
Limousine rental demand is higher on the weekend, Friday night and
Saturday all day, therefore cost to rent the limousine is higher
on those days. If you prefer to spend less, try to hold your event
on a day Sunday through Thursday.
Time of Year
During the month of March, April, May, and early June is a time
period where limousine rentals are most costly. Due to proms,
spring weddings, and spring break travelers, limousine rental
prices will increase by as much as 30% during this time frame! In
these spring months, the demand for limousines often exceed the
pool of vehicles available which drive prices up. Minimum hourly
booking requirements often inflate beyond 4 hours.
Company Policy
Rental policies vary with every service. Ask your chosen company
how they charge for hourly rentals. Some events (like concerts)
have "idle" time in between pickup and drop off which will create
differences among companies how this idle time is charged.
Geographic Region
Another determinant of rental cost is geographic region. There is
significant disparity for limousine rental costs across the
country and in the world. Here are some examples.
HIGHER COSTS
New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles
LOWER RELATIVE COST
Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix
Prom Rental Costs

frame which drive prices and minimum hourly booking requirements
